Research project VitERz.fruit to determine the degree of ripeness of whole fruits

Goal: Classification of fruits according to their degree of ripeness via vibration analysis.

Project content: 

  • A prototype line is being developed on which the fruits are fed individually and directed to a measuring channel after alignment and subsequently classified.
  • The vibration applied by the fruit to the measuring channel is measured and evaluated based on a self-learning system. 

Project duration: May 2020 - April 2022
