With the aim of providing a smallholders’ cooperative in the Ugandan sub-county of Kangulumira with future prospects, a fair income and a sustainable increase in prosperity, the Austrian company Twiga Sun Fruits GmbH recently launched a project for the production of solar-dried pineapple: organic, fair and meeting European quality standards. The devices used to peel, core and cut the pineapple were donated by KRONEN.

Following the successful test phase on a disinfection method for cut lettuce, the interim results have now been analyzed. These will be presented for the first time at the KRONEN Customer Day on September 29.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of KRONEN GmbH, Alwin Wagner, Deputy Managing Director of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Southern Upper Rhine Area (IHK Südlicher Oberrhein), presented Rudolf Hans Zillgith with the IHK anniversary certificate and congratulated him on his entrepreneurial foresight and achievements.

"French company Voie Verte, which specializes in lettuce cultivation and sales, has installed a new washing line from Kronen to help optimize production."

The installation of the new line for washing lettuce grown by the French family company in its existing production facilities required a particularly space-saving setup for the three washing machines.

The KRONEN Sales Team works with representatives and customers to develop specially adapted solutions for an extremely broad spectrum of demands.
