WHAT’S NEW: Peeling taro in Thailand with the PL 40K

The PL 40K potato peeling machine is proving its versatility at a customer site in Thailand, where the company is successfully using two of the KRONEN machines to peel taro roots. The roots, with a diameter of approx. 80–100 mm, are prepared and cut into pieces with a maximum length of 150 mm. They are then peeled in batches using the two PL 40K machines. The result: perfectly peeled taro roots in no time, processed gently and with minimal waste – much to the customer’s satisfaction.
