Wojnar’s Wiener Leckerbissen GmbH, one of the leading deli food manufacturers in Austria, is using a new K650 drying system by KRONEN to optimize its production processes. The company, which is based in Vienna, produces around 100,000 kilograms of deli food products such as spreads and salads, which are available in a multitude of European countries, every day.
A close partnership between Wojnar’s and KRONEN has been in place for many years, supported by KRONEN’s Austria representative Franz Führer. Wojnar’s relies on more than 30 KRONEN machines as efficient, hygienic, and flexible solutions for its food processing activities.
The new K650 drying system replaces the company’s previous spin-dryers as the ideal solution for the even, gentle drying of pickled ingredients such as diced carrots and onions or cucumber chunks. It removes excess brine from the ingredients before they are further processed into deli food products. The system optimizes the efficient processing and improves the product quality, especially when it comes to spin-drying delicate raw ingredients such as fish and shrimps.
The compact design and flexibly positionable belts of the K650 enable it to be perfectly integrated into existing production environments – even if there is limited space available. Its simple cleaning and rapid convertibility support the high hygiene standards and frequent product changes involved in the ongoing operations of the deli food manufacturer.
As a result, the K650 plays a key role in enabling modern, efficient, and hygienic food processing in the production of high-quality delicatessen products.
