Operational buyer / Purchasing coordinator

Your tasks

Your tasks

  • Handling scheduling, procurement, and orders of materials in accordance with the requirement specifications for defined scheduling areas
  • Responsibility for the operational management of the order process (monitoring dates and deadlines and coordinating and communicating with suppliers)
  • Processing reminders and receivables in the case of delivery delays, missing order confirmations, or invoice discrepancies
    Obtaining, comparing, and evaluating supplier quotations 
  • Maintaining material master data and handling active inventory management in the ERP system 
  • Identifying and realizing potential savings and improvements
  • Supervising the area of declarations of conformity for food contact materials
  • Working as a contact for departments, suppliers, and internal interfaces (particularly Production, Customer service, Incoming Goods, and Financial Accounts)
  • Supporting the continuous optimization of purchasing and materials management processes

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in purchasing or materials management is advantageous
  • Confident use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Structured, reliable, and team-oriented working approach
  • Communication skills and assertiveness when dealing with internal and external partners 
  • English skills are advantageous
