Efficient dicing of bell pepper and cabbage with the KUJ HC-220

In this application example, the KUJ HC-220 cube, strip & slice cutting machine was fitted with a 20 mm round knife and a chopping knife and set at a moderate speed setting of 2–3 (on a scale of 1–7) for processing bell pepper and cabbage.

The machine achieves an even and clean cut, producing cut bell pepper and cabbage cubes with an impressive and appealing appearance.

High performance for fresh-cut and vegetable processing

The KUJ HC-220 achieves a capacity of approximately 4,500 to 5,000 kg per hour when cutting bell pepper or cabbage into 20 mm cubes and up to 8,000 kg per hour when producing 10 mm potato cubes, for example. 

It is therefore ideal for companies that process large quantities and want to make their production processes both efficient and reliable. 

Flexible use for large products and a variety of different cuts

The application example clearly demonstrates the flexibility of the machine for processing different products and its ability to maintain a constantly high cutting quality.

The KUJ HC-220 is designed specifically for the industrial processing of large products with diameters ranging from 90 to 220 mm, for example cabbage, bell pepper, celeriac, and beet. It significantly reduces the time and effort required for pre-cutting.

Thanks to a wide variety of cutting inserts, the machine can not only dice products but also produces slices, strips, and extremely fine cubes (brunoise). In combination with the cutting speed, which can be set at one of seven different levels, the machine can be flexibly adapted to suit different products and seasonal production requirements, always guaranteeing optimal quality.
