Three processing lines disinfect vegetables at UK customer:

By installing three UVC disinfection locks in processing lines, a customer from the UK ensures optimal hygiene of different vegetables, both unpeeled and peeled, before further processing*.

Ghent university opens test production for food processing:

From 10 September companies and researchers have the possibility to use a complete fully functional KRONEN processing line in the VEG-i-TEC laboratory at Ghent university for food industry research purposes. This processing line can be used for machine tests, training and to ultimately propel innovative solutions in the food processing industry through applied research.

Finally, the programme for the KRONEN International Online Customer Days scheduled for 04 to 07 October has been confirmed.

Efficient, gentle dewatering of fine-particle products such as caviar:

Products such as caviar or artificial caviar are stored and transported in brine, which must be separated from the product before further processing. This process places special demands on the dewatering process due to the small product size and sensitivity of the products. KRONEN has developed a vibration table with a tilt especially for this purpose, which gently separates the products from the brine by vibration and rinsing with fresh water.
