Gentle peeling, destoning and halving of mangoes as if by hand

Whole mangoes are peeled, pitted and halved in one cycle using the mango peeling and destoning machine 20. The peeled mango halves can then be further processed and cut into cubes or strips, for example. With a capacity of up to 20 fruits per minute and low personnel requirements, the machine efficiently processes high volumes.

The fruits are placed in the fruit pockets in an arranged manner. During the peeling process, the fruit is held in position by the stone, thus enabling particularly gentle processing and a peeling result as if by hand. The peeled mango then passes through the cutting stations, where the flesh is cut off the stone on both sides. The mango fillets are then discharged sideways by means of product chutes. The peel and stones are discharged via the waste belt.

Mango peeling and destoning machine 20
The Mango Peeler-de-Cheeker 20 processes 20 mangoes per minute. The mangoes are placed into the machine manually and that is about all the handwork needed. Peeling and destoning are done fully automatically via a step-by-step method. This means that the mango moves one position further in the machine for every next operation, resulting in beautiful, smoothly peeled mango cheeks.

Benefits

KRONEN benefits

Gentle processing for an optimal peeling result

Thanks to the fixation of the fruits in the product holders on the stone of the mango, the eight-step peeling system with its especially adapted peeling knives, and the suspension of the blades, the peeling result achieved is just as good as hand-peeled. As a result, even ripe and soft fruits can be peeled and pitted optimally without damaging the sensitive pulp.

KRONEN benefits

Peeling, destoning and halving in one cycle

All three processing steps take place successively at different stations when passing through the mango peeling and destoning machine 20. The result: peeled and pitted mango halves.

KRONEN benefits

Synchronized cycle for easy positioning of the fruit

The synchronized cycle ensures easy positioning of the fruit. After manual insertion of the fruit into the fruit pockets, the mangoes are automatically placed onto the fruit holders.

KRONEN benefits

High performance with low personnel requirements

The mango peeling and destoning machine 20 is loaded by only one person. After processing, only one or two people are required to check the processing result. This means that large quantities can be processed with low personnel requirements.

KRONEN benefits

Waste discharge belt

The waste discharge belt transports the peel and stones out of the mango peeling machine 20.

Accessories

KRONEN accessories
Fruit holder set for processing fruits with a smaller stone

The fruit holder replacement set enables a significant increase in the yield of fruits with smaller or flatter stones. To adapt the machine to different fruits, it is possible to switch between the standard fruit holder set for 25 mm and the set for 22 mm.

KRONEN benefits
Product discharge conveyor

For efficient processing, a discharge conveyor can be used to transport the mango halves directly for further processing.
