WHAT´S NEW: GS 20 belt cutting machine with weighing unit and shredding disk

In order to achieve the cutting result desired by the customer with two different products using the same cutting disc on the GS 20, a special shredding disk was developed. In order to clean the machine, the shredding disk is removed using a support arm installed on the machine. As these are wearing parts, the individual shredding plates on the disc can be removed and replaced as needed, which enables sustainable material utilization. 

The belt cutting machine was raised to integrate a weighing unit, so that the product is conveyed into the mobile standard trolley, and the cut product is weighed directly as it is discharged from the machine. Once the desired product quantity (subject to a previous setting) has been reached, the cutting machine stops, and the trolley can be emptied/replaced. The quantities of the various products weighed directly during the cutting process can then be processed further. Production processes are, therefore, made more efficient, and the correct mixing ratio is ensured.
