GEWA PLUS washing machines

Our GEWA models are universal washing machines for continuous washing of lettuce, vegetables, herbs, fruit and more, both as cut and whole products. The PLUS series impresses with its high-quality design and flexible equipment options, for example a fine particle outfeed, sand trap funnel or water management system. The GEWA models with their innovative washing system guarantee an undamaged, optimally cleaned product that can be disinfected with a washing additive if required. In addition, the product can be efficiently mixed (e.g. mixed salads) and cooled down by the washing process. All solutions can be integrated into processing lines.

GEWA AF pre-washing machine with belt outfeed

With the innovative "Active Flume" washing system, floating products are pre-washed without additional mechanical stress, and the product flow is standardized. The GEWA AF sets new hygiene standards and reduces water consumption. It is ideally combined with a GEWA XL or GEWA 5000 in a processing line.

The washing machine GEWA XL from KRONEN is setting new standards in hygiene – wash extremely large capacities effectively, gently and economically: cut and whole products (salad, vegetables, herbs, fruit etc.) up to 5 t/h.

The high-performance washing machine is used for the continuous pre-washing, washing, disinfection and treatment of lettuce, vegetables, herbs and fruits, among others. It sets new standards in terms of hygienic design and cleaning. The GEWA XL is positioned in the processing line upstream of a drying system such as the K850 and can be combined with a pre-washing machine such as the GEWA AF.
