The slightly adapted TONA V cutting machine is the ideal solution for cutting canned halved pears into perfect slices. What’s more, the pears are discharged from the machine extremely gently and can therefore be directly and easily further processed for use in cakes and pastries such as tartlets.
The halved ‘ready-to-eat’ fruits are manually placed in the product holders, which can be adapted to fit different sizes, thus ensuring a fast and simple loading process.
Gentle discharge for perfect cakes and pastries
The Tona V cuts the pear halves into slices, for example 5mm-thick slices, with optimal cutting results. The sliced good product falls onto a discharge belt, which is specially timed for the Tona V to ensure that the pear halves are transported to the next stage of processing individually.
As a result, the cut slices remain together as a neat pear half on the belt. They can then be lifted from the belt with a spatula and placed directly on the cake base or pastry.
Product-optimized yet versatile use
When used for this purpose, the Tona V is ideal for large bakeries or pastry shops. It can also be used for a wide variety of other applications. The machine cuts fruit and vegetables into slices, segments and sticks in a continuous process.
Its different cutting inserts can be changed quickly, and the machine is easy to clean, thus enabling efficient processing even when frequently alternating between different products. The Tona V can handle products with a maximum diameter of 120 mm and a maximum height of 150 mm. It offers a maximum processing capacity of 3,600 pieces per hour.
