As in previous years, the donation resulted from a joint collection among the Management Board and KRONEN staff: Part of the amount was raised in an internal raffle held by employees, and the Management Board then added to the amount collected. 

The SOS Children’s Village Black Forest supports children, young people, and families in the region by offering a wide variety of activities focusing on child and youth welfare. It aims to provide young people in challenging living circumstances with stability, support, and genuine prospects for the future. 

”Here at KRONEN, we take responsibility, not only within our company but also in our home region,” emphasized Stephan Zillgith, Managing Director of KRONEN GmbH. “For us, social commitment plays an integral role in taking such responsibility. I am therefore delighted that we are able to support the SOS Children’s Village Black Forest again this year.” 

This support has become somewhat of a tradition at KRONEN: The family-run company has been actively committed to social projects in the region for many years and has already been supporting the SOS Children’s Village in Sulzburg for a long time. 

”A special partnership has been in place between our facility and KRONEN GmbH from Kiel for more than two decades. We were delighted that Rudolf Hans Zillgith and Stephan Zillgith brought the donation to Sulzburg in person, which we consider to be a sign of true appreciation and long-term solidarity,” stated  Dorina Thomas from the SOS Children’s Village Black Forest. “The repeated support shows how important supporting young people and their future prospects is to KRONEN.”
