For fine cubes, sticks, strips and slices: cut large quantities up to 2,500 kg per hour easily and precisely

The KUJ-V cuts even the finest cubes, strips, sticks and slices cleanly and precisely in large quantities for the food and catering industry. In just one operation, the machine processes vegetables (e.g. carrots, potatoes, onions and peppers), fruit (e.g. apples, kiwis and melons) or meat, ham, bacon and fish.

The standard built-in frequency converter with seven adjustable speeds also ensures gentle cutting and dicing. Fine cubes measuring 3 x 3 x 3 mm (brunoise), vegetable rice (e.g. from broccoli and cauliflower stalks) measuring 3 x 3 x 5 mm, long slices of vegetables such as eggplants/aubergines, zucchini/courgettes and cucumbers, or fine 2 x 2 mm sticks for dips, soups, sauces and salads can also be produced. In addition, even sensitive products such as strawberries, beetroot, mushrooms, tomatoes and zucchini/courgettes are processed perfectly. Meat and fish (e.g. salmon and octopus), both cooked and frozen, or hard-boiled eggs and cheese (e.g. mozzarella) can also be diced with the KUJ-V.

Cutting inserts for diverse requirements

A wide range of cutting tools is available for different types of cutting: for cutting slices (cutting thickness from 2 to 20 mm) and for dicing, a grooved knife and a guide plate are required; for strip cutting, a grooved knife, a scraper and a circular knife roller (available in sizes 2, 3, 5, 6, 7.5, 9, 10, 12, 15 and 20 mm); and for cube cutting, a grooved knife, a scraper, a circular knife roller and a chopping roller (available in sizes 3, 5, 7.5, 10, 12, 15 and 20 mm). By combining the individual cutting knives, a wide variety of cutting shapes are possible, for example 6 x 10 x 15 mm, 4 x 5 x 7.5 mm, 3 x 5 x 5 mm and many more. Special cutting inserts (e.g. for wave cutting) and for special products (e.g. kiwis, avocados) are also available.

Three-blade rotor for extra-long products

An adjustable three-blade rotor is available for the optimized infeed of long products (e.g. carrots) or the production of longer strips and sticks. Four plastic spacers reduce the maximum diameter of the product to be processed from 90 mm to either 80, 70, 60 or 50 mm and allow ideal guidance for the actual cutting process. The reduction from four to three compartments also increases the product length from 140 to 200 mm thanks to the special rotor.
