The ORKI Citrus & Kiwi Peeling machine cores, ‚top & tails‘ and fully automatically peels oranges, grapefruit and kiwi. The machine can process both citrus and kiwi. The fruits then only have to be cut into pieces or segments.
After selecting the fruit type, dimensions and peel thickness, the ORKI will process each piece of fruit with equal thickness. Coring, top and tail as well as zest cut is possible. This results in a visually appealing end product, ready for further processing.
The ORKI has a unique mechanism that automatically can vary the peel thickness. The peel thickness can be preset (thicker at the stem than at the tip). Thus, a maximum yield is ensured. It prevents that thick layers are removed and yield is not unnecessarily lost.
Can operate as stand alone unit or can be interlinked with a second machine increasing the capacity
Works with two peeling stations to achieve the maximum capacity of 18 pieces per minute; it can also be supplied with only one peeling station and therefore a capacity of max. 9 fruit per minute.
Clean peeling within seconds
After setting the fruit type, the desired peeling thickness and the peeling speed, each piece has its skin carefully removed. If required, the machine can also core the fruit and ‚top and tail‘ it. This results in a visually attractive end product, ready for further processing.
Comfortable standard equipment
The solid industrial machine is completely made of stainless steel AISI 304 and can easily be cleaned and maintained due to removable covers
